Christmas Pudding

We made Christmas Pudding by mixing all the ingredients together and placing them in a cake tin. The children made wishes over the mixture! The cake will be ready to decorate in a few weeks!

Pizza

Yesterday we met a new friend called the Unhealthy Alien, and all he ate was was Pizza, ice cream and sweets! We decided to make him a healthy Pizza to show him how yummy vegetables can be!

We all had the chance to spread tomato puree on the base, and then spinkle on some cheese, and then add lots of toppings such as mushrooms, peppers, sweetcorn and ham! We then cooked the pizzas in the oven and watched how the cheese melted and the vegetables cooked!

After the Pizza had cooled, we cut them up into slices and all enjoyed tasting them! They were delicious!

Our photos below show how we made the Pizzas!

Library trip

Today we enjoyed visiting the library. We listened to the story of Farmer duck and enjoyed joining in with the story! Lots of parents helped voice some of the characters which was very funny!

Phoneme Frames

This week in school the children will be practising writing words using phoneme frames. The blank frame helps them to think carefully about each individual sound in a word and decide where to put it. Below is an example, please feel free to use this technique at home to help your child attempt to write new words.
