We also talked about Water Safety, and how we should behave when around Water. In the story, the Gingerbread Man couldn't swim, and accepted a lift across the river from the sly Fox, whcih was a big mistake! We made Warning signs to help remind the Gingerbread Man to stay away from the river!
The gingerbread man didn't last very long when he got home, but I am assured he was very tasty.
